Advanced Engineered material solutions for customer piece of mind through quality assurance and deep commitment to supply chain reliability.
PM stands for Power Metallurgy; is a term covering a wide range of ways in which materials or components are made from metal powders. PM are processes can eliminate, or greatly reduce, the need to use metal removal processes, thereby drastically reducing yield losses in manufacture and often resulting in lower costs.
PM is used to make unique alloy materials with custom tailored properties, materials that would be impossible to achieve from melting or forming with other conventional methods. This enables various combinations of material alloys that would otherwise be impossible to mix and processing of materials with very specific material allow properties, this also allows metal-forming processes of ferrous-powdered materials performed by pressing or sintering metal powder compacts near to net shape of the final component. It allows very complex geometries and intricate features.
